Terms of service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Rvvl website, store, customer accounts, membership, digital content, products and services (collectively, the “Services”). In these Terms, “Rvvl,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the business operating the Rvvl store. Questions or legal notices may be sent to hi@rvvlbrands.com.

By accessing the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and any product-specific terms shown before purchase. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility and customer accounts

You must have legal capacity to enter a contract in your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Some benefits and digital products require a Shopify customer account using the same email address used to purchase. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. We will not use suspension to obstruct a lawful cancellation or refund request.

2. Product information and availability

We aim to describe prices, features, availability, delivery, eligibility and restrictions accurately. Images and colours may vary by display. We may correct a genuine error before accepting an order. If a material error affects an accepted order, we will contact you and offer a lawful correction, cancellation or refund.

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation after successful payment authorization, unless the confirmation states that further qualification or agreement is required. We may reject or cancel an order for payment failure, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, ineligibility, unavailable inventory or supplier failure. If we cancel after capture, we will refund the affected amount.

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping and mandatory charges are shown before checkout completion.

3. Revival Candidates

A “Revival Candidate” is a product or brand Rvvl is researching. A candidate page, advertisement, nomination, follow, evidence submission, vote, support payment or membership benefit is not a product order, preorder, deposit, reservation, investment, ownership interest or promise that a product will be manufactured or delivered.

Candidate status may change as evidence, rights, safety, manufacturing, economics and demand are evaluated. Candidate pages must identify the current verified stage and any known affiliation. Commerce for a revived product remains disabled until Rvvl completes its approval gates.

4. Founding Club membership

The Founding Club costs $39 USD per year plus applicable tax and renews automatically every 12 months until cancelled. Membership terms shown on the product page and in the Founding Club Membership Terms form part of these Terms.

Membership may include account-gated content, participation opportunities, eligible discounts, early access, priority consideration for limited taste tests, candidate updates, badges and nonbinding votes. Availability and eligibility rules apply. Membership is not a product credit, preorder, reservation, investment or guarantee of selection, revival or delivery.

You may cancel future renewal through your customer account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term unless a refund, reversal, chargeback, fraud or misuse requires earlier revocation. One active membership is permitted per customer.

5. Optional research support and tips

Research support payments and eligible checkout tips are optional, are never preselected and create no membership, vote weighting, priority, reservation, ownership interest, product or delivery entitlement. They are not charitable donations and no tax receipt is issued.

6. SOP licences and digital content

SOP content is licensed, not sold. The applicable SOP Licence Terms shown before purchase govern permitted use, access, updates, restrictions and refunds. Buying an SOP does not grant rights in a historical brand, product, candidate or revival. Sky Pilot is Rvvl’s intended protected delivery system. No SOP product will be activated until the relevant asset and entitlement flow are approved and tested.

7. Physical, POD and Collective products

Physical products may be fulfilled by Rvvl, a print-on-demand provider or a Shopify Collective supplier. Relevant product pages and checkout messaging identify material fulfilment, shipping and return information. Mixed orders may arrive in separate packages and on different dates. Purchasing a third-party product through Rvvl does not imply Rvvl owns or manufactures it.

8. Business services and sponsorships

A diagnostic application, partnership form or sponsor inquiry is a request for review only. It creates no engagement, exclusivity, invoice or obligation. A paid diagnostic or larger engagement requires an accepted scope and any applicable written agreement. Services, sponsorship inventory, confidentiality, intellectual property, payment and termination may be governed by additional written terms.

9. User submissions

You may submit nominations, evidence, comments, feedback or other material only if you have the right to do so. Do not submit confidential information belonging to another person, unlawful material, malware, personal information without authority, or content that infringes rights.

You retain ownership of your submission. You grant Rvvl a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, review, analyze, moderate and display the submission only as reasonably needed to operate, improve and communicate about the Services and the relevant candidate. You may request removal of public-facing material, subject to legal, security and record-retention needs.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use the Services to break the law; deceive or impersonate others; interfere with security or operation; scrape or automate access in a manner that harms the Services; evade access controls; introduce malicious code; infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or redistribute protected member or SOP content without permission.

11. Intellectual property and historical rights

Rvvl’s original site content, research presentation, designs, systems and approved materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Historical brands, products, marks and third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners. Unless explicitly stated, a candidate listing does not claim affiliation, authorization or endorsement.

If you believe content infringes your rights, email hi@rvvlbrands.com with your contact information, identification of the work or right, the affected URL, the basis of your claim and a statement that the information is accurate.

12. Third-party services

Shopify and approved service providers support payments, accounts, membership, fulfilment, analytics, communications and digital delivery. Their services may have separate terms. We are responsible for our customer-facing commitments but do not control every third-party network or system.

13. Disclaimers

Research, candidate information, votes, forecasts, SOPs and business content are informational. They are not legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical, scientific, regulatory, manufacturing or safety advice. You are responsible for obtaining qualified advice and permissions appropriate to your situation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rvvl is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from the Services. Where liability may lawfully be limited, Rvvl’s aggregate liability relating to a paid item or service will not exceed the amount you paid Rvvl for that item or service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, disclosed and protected. If these Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy about personal-information handling, the Privacy Policy controls.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms prospectively. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes affecting an active paid subscription will be communicated as required by law and will not retroactively replace agreed payment terms without appropriate notice or consent.

17. Governing law and complaints

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights available where you live. Before starting formal proceedings, please email hi@rvvlbrands.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
