The Rvvl standard

A revival should be earned.

Good intentions are not enough. A responsible comeback needs evidence, rights clarity, product integrity, and claims people can trust.

Decision standard

The questions every file must answer

Is demand real?

We look for behaviour and purchase intent—not only likes, comments, or fond memories.

Can it return responsibly?

Rights, trademarks, formulations, supply, safety, and regulatory constraints must be understood.

Can it be good again?

The product must deliver a compelling experience in the present, not merely resemble the past.

Can we communicate honestly?

Affiliation, changes, unknowns, and tradeoffs must be clear before anyone is asked to buy.

Transparency

Claims and affiliation

How will Rvvl describe relationships with original brands?

Using precise language: owned, licensed, partnered, authorized, acquired, independent, or unaffiliated—whichever is accurate.

What happens when the original cannot be replicated?

The file should explain the constraint, the decision made, and the practical effect on the revived product.

What happens to candidates that fail validation?

They can be paused or marked not proceeding. A transparent no is better than manufacturing urgency around a weak opportunity.
